In November of this year, we are moving to....
OMAHA, NEBRASKA
We have orders to Offutt AFB where my husband will be apart of the navy squadron there. We're so excited to make this next move in our lives. It's "new" in a sense, but the state my husband grew up in. We'll be close to his family, and that's hands down the part I'm most excited about. My boys will get to spend time with and get to know their cousins, as well as the rest of the family that we rarely get to see. I'm excited to take the boys to the zoo, take trips to Kansas City, go to the College World Series (especially if Florida is playing!!), and to just learn this new place that we'll call home for the next three years.
It's going to be a change, but it'll hopefully be an awesome one. I have a few obstacles to overcome with this move, but for the most part, I couldn't be happier. I am truly happy for this, and really looking forward to it.
The only thing I won't do is eat at Runza's. I've learned my lesson. Other than that, I'm totally up for anything.
All we can say is...........YEAH! It feels good knowing that for the next 3 years, you will be close enough we can be there to offer a little help! (and maybe a break for the two of you when you want one! ). We know it's only a stepping stone to the East coast, but we are SO HAPPY that stone landed in Nebraska!
